I ticked off at "practically no straights at all" which is a partial truth. The start of the road from the junction with 307 is a 8-900mtr straight, but after that it IS over. Some 30ish corners with a couple in 1st gear. Too sad it's over before you know it and you are entering the town of Glamsbjerg. Glamsbjerg is by the way a perfect hub for studying the most beautiful scenery and spectacular back roads in southern Scandinavia.
This route have a lot of official speed restrictions. But it's a beautiful ride and it leads to the next ride in my series about Funens best bends.
Traffic can be a real killer on this route especially for the spirited riders from say 6am to 5pm. For an evening stroll, this road has written TT all over it. It is also located in county "Norfyns", whom doesn't have road maintenance as their top priority.
Under Hazards I have ticked 'regular number for this area', meaning there are a great deal of potential hazards here especially for the more spirited riders, but all of that is not unusual for this area. It's a numbered route, 303, so there are proper markings although the road is relatively narrow.
Frb - Roskilde - Lejre - Bøgeskoven
Eine sehr anspruchsvolle und lange Fahrt. Man sollte viel Natur erleben!
Best roads/corners in my area. And icecream on harbour in Sæby
Værløse - Søsum - Ganløse - Bastrup - Værløse.
This is a fabulously beautiful route for a short half days ride. If you make sure to touch Randers Fiord at Voer you will ferry cross the fiord on Denmarks smallest ferry (it takes approx 3 cars and 4-5 motorbikes!) For more very interesting points: Cross Mariager Fjord on the opening bridge at Hadsund, ride through Rold Skov (DKs largest forest) and Rebild Bakker just S of Skørping. And finally cross the Limfiord at the ferry port at Egense leading over to Hals on the N side of the Limfiord. Great trip! Ride safely - but have fun!
This a beautiful stretch of road with lots of water on both sides (fiords and sea). It is also a fantastic ride though there is quite a bit of traffic as the road leads to the ferry harbour of Sjællands Odde (ferry to the peninsula Jutland/DK). In spite of the trafic it is still good fun to stretch your legs here. Ride safely - but have fun! :o)
