Alternative route avoiding motorway. A bit of everything on this route, some faster sweeping roads out some more twisty ones, my personal favourite part is from Yesa and the N-260 up into the mountains and all the way to Ainsa. Approximately 6 hours! Depending on how many times you stop to admire the scenery.
Did this route from Salamanca, and back again to Salamanca, Fantastic route
Winding road wt some straights

A mix of rural open roads, villages, and mountains
ruta de montaña con curvas ratoneras y buenos paisajes
Nice piece of the C-55 near Montserrat area which can be used for connecting with other nearby routes. Nice views between Montserrat skirt and Llobregat river. Not for high speeds though the road surface is in mean condition, nice for routing.
This little rural road starts in Monistrol de Montserrat bordering El Llobregat river, then it goes through the magic town of Vacarisses between Parc natural de Sant Llorenç del Munt, Serra de l'Obac and Parc natural de Montserrat where you can visit its XII century castle or the outstanding XI century church of Sant Pere i Sant Feliu... wow! Then the road goes down to Olesa road under an old roman bridge and stunning venue.
This amazing little road borders the south east part of the magic mountain of Montserrat surrounded by an espectacular landscape. Very nice corners, some of them tight but still kind. The road is in very good condition.
A nice road through "la serra de l'Obac". Meet some catalonian local crazy biker beating you with a korean scooter. Some of the best catalonian riders like Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrosa, Alex Criville, Xavi Coca, Sete Gibernau, Joan Garriga and many more grew up and forged their legend in this road and others around this zone. The biological, cultural and landscaping interest of this mitic road is undeniable. With lots of corners and a good surface you will be looking forward to repeat the experience.
Nice road 40 Km from Barcelona, funny and with lots of nice corners for a 20 minutes ride.
Great winding roads, mountain passes, many fuel stations, single lanes and great views all the way
Ruta hibernal de poca velocidad para no pasar mucho frío jajaj
Off road following mountain ridge. Panoramic view on bask country , ocean in back ground.
Nice on a sunny day.
Mejor ir a media mañana que hay menos tráfico
Carretera con poco tráfico, algunos ciclistas tramo entre senmenat y moia,
Best to start from CV720 (hard to find junction midway between Castell de Castells and Benigembla). The first 200 meters have very rough surface, probably to discourage large campers from taking this route.
A good restaurant with great views on the top, about half way to Orba. The road down the mountain and Vall de Laguar goes through several villages and has some very nice views.
Probably the best ride I've had in 20 years of biking. Lots of flowing long corners taken in 3rd and 4th and also some hairpin sections. Stunning scenery, very few cars and all in all an amazing half day out.
This is a great little run into the hills from Malaga skirting the edge of a national park (always good). We did it on rented BMW1200's which handled the roads and sometimes uneven surfaces without a twitch. Highly recommend.
Cracking ride through some of the southern parts of the Picos de Europa Parque Nacional. Great scenery, roads mostly very good but some of the surface of the LE-333 is not so good.
There was hardly any traffic on the day we rode here in September 2017.
There's a video of the ride on my You Tube channel at https://youtu.be/k4SA2YnPbOk
nice typical southern spanish mountain road
Lovely twisty spanish back road with great corners and normally great riding conditions
A spectacular ride on our Harley to the top of Pena de Francia - a 5666 ft mountain in the Castile y Leon region of Spain. There's a video of the ride at https://youtu.be/uqdA-BSMT4g
