From Almansa to Ayora the road is straight and well policed!!!! not too demanding!!! the fun starts at Ayora :-) A great road that is fast and open into tight technical sections..... for a round robin route... it can be combined with the N322 from Requena to Albacete. This road gives you a few straights before it gets twisty again then a pretty boring ride into Albacete itself. Why not combine it with a visit to the Albacete race circuit to watch the World Endurance Championship in July? From there back towards Ayora on the CM322/CV440.... careful of on particular downhill section into a single track bridge.... there are also plenty of twisty roads within this triangle too... but some of the surfaces are a bit dodgey so take care at first....

the section down the hairpins to the reservoir is the sort of road that you could play all day on if you,re in the area you just have to do this road (several times)

Did this route two-up whilst on route to Costa Blanca, stunning bends whilst descending to Almansa [reservoir on left] Could hear my girlfriend screaming! Route is used by a number of coaches that tend to cut the corners so pay attention especially as some of the corners are completely blind.

Also watch out for the narrow bridge right at the bottom of the hill which restricts larger vehicles passing abreast... turned the last corner only to find a stationary lorry allowing a coach to cross the bridge... good brake test though!

One of the best roads we found in Spain to date - a great surface for most of the rural sections where the roads twists its way through the mountains. Great for knee down work although respect is due when going through the villages. No police presence noted. Forms a good link with the Almansa - Pinoso route when heading North/South through Spain.
