Great road. Crashed here when the bends were resurfaced a dozen or so years ago. The tarmac is just as hard here as anywhere else.
I love this road, though the surface is a bit dodgy just before Lower Benefield. The stretch between the two Benefields is great, with a series of well surfaced right angles. Between there and Weldon the road opens out a bit, but rises, falls and twists satisfyingly.
