Just a pleasant ride, not very long but with fun corners and no cops.
This is the perfect route for those who travel South / North (or vice versa) and wish to avoid Oslo. The route is much more pleasant and interesting than the E6 which the vast majority use. The difference in time-comsuption is almost non-existant (unless you use the E6 straights to speed).
Lots of good corners. Only thing that can take away from the fun would be traffic (as this is close to Skien & Porsgrunn).
Amazing trip if you wanna practice some corners and have some really stunning scenery!
The roads arent always Laguna Seca and there are numerous irregularities, but it really is a great ride. Especially on the peninsulla, driving towards Nesoddtangen on the RV156 and further towards Fagerstrand on the RV157 is amazing: lots of corners and great coastal scenery.
The 2nd part of the trip gets you through some more rural areas, with the same recipe: corners!
The last part is more of a drive trough some small villages and living areas, so mind your speed. I just took this to avoid highway at all cost.
Enjoy! This is a great trip with 3 hours of pure pleasure!
Fun, fun, fun (for those who like corners).
The route takes you through farm-country, with little traffic.
Lots of corner-combinations, some real hairpins.
Note that in the beginning of the season the road-surface may be damaged from winter frost.
Son is charming small town with good art galleries and a couple of good cafes. In the Summer it is also a busy sailing-port.
