One of the best roads in Essex, that I keep happily returning to. Either direction is great, loads of tight bends and (relative) straights inbetween to set-up for next corner. Good learning ground, few villages you have to slow down for, gives you a break from concentrating hard (check yourself), but not too many to ruin the rhythm. If youre coming up from London, try the B184 before it, thats fun too.
One of the best this one, loads of good corners and a good surface. Really excellent
The A5004 between Buxton and Whaley Bridge is a spectacular road with virtually no police presence. A nice panoramic corner in the middle too with a slightly dodgy/torn surface. You can make it a triangular run, if at the first set of lights in Whaley you turn left onto the B5470 to Macclesfield - another good twisty road but with many villages. Once in Macclesfield, you go back out on the Cat & Fiddle to Buxton, then turn round and do it again.
The much loved and notorious Cat & Fiddle run. A brilliant road with excellent corners, it's reputation is also it's biggest problem, loads of bikers ride the route, and loads of police there standing by waiting to catch them!! This is officially Britain's most dangerous road.
This is a nice piece of road, which combines all types of riding skills - Fast corners and slow Sharpe right-handers
