Blue Ridge Parkway / Skyline Drive : Asheville - Roanoke - Front Royal (USA_TTC 1)
NC - Cherokee/Graham/Clay... > North Carolina > United States > America
February 24, 2017 - 5 star route rating Motorcycle Road5.0

Great Curves and Stunning Nature along one of America's best motorcycling roads Approximately 500 miles of some of the best and most scenic twisting tarmac in North America. Enjoying the beautiful nature and the stunning curves all the way from Asheville, North Carolina into Roanoke, Virginia. This is very nicely maintained road with lots of grip but there can also be wildlife (deers, bears, etc) so be on the lookout for those! Highest section between Soco Gap and Wagon Road Gap a particular highlight Note: Some sections of this road are closed in winter.

Cherohalo Skyway / Tail of the Dragon Loop
NC - Cherokee/Graham/Clay... > North Carolina > United States > America
August 19, 2015 - 5 star route rating Motorcycle Road5.0

The Cherohalo Skyway is very scenic. Most any rider of any skill level can ride it. The Tail of the Dragon is very technical and is best for experienced riders or thrill seekers. There are several riders killed each year on the Dragon. Pay close attention to your riding, speed and what is up ahead

Great curvy mountain road. Gravel in roadway at some corners due to cars. Hardly no straights.

NC80 : Devils Whip (North Carolina SR-80S)
NC - Cherokee/Graham/Clay... > North Carolina > United States > America
March 8, 2015 - 5 star route rating Motorcycle Road5.0

You will definitely want to travel this road South to North so you will be pulling uphill in the twisties. This road has lots of elevation change, very tight corners, switch backs etc.
Don't take this road lightly, it contains some very dangerous curves.

Diamondback Loop
NC - Cherokee/Graham/Clay... > North Carolina > United States > America
March 7, 2015 - 5 star route rating Motorcycle Road5.0

Now that 226A has been repaved, this is an excellent motorcycle road if you in the mood for twisties!
226A has very little traffic, and trucks over 30 ft are banned. The 226 (NOT 226A) does have more traffic, including larger trucks, but that road is also wider and more open, allowing for better visibility than that tighter and narrower 226A.

Wayah Road Loop
NC - Cherokee/Graham/Clay... > North Carolina > United States > America
October 26, 2014 - 4 star route rating Motorcycle Road4.0

A nice loop ride from Dillsboro, NC through Nantahala Gorge, up Wayah Road into Franklin, NC (for lunch) and back down 441 returning Dillsboro. Ridable from the Asheville area in a day.
Some curves in Wayah Road does have loose gravel kicked up from the roadside.
Several switchbacks in here, but all in all just a nice curvey mountain ride.

The Copperhead Loop
NC - Cherokee/Graham/Clay... > North Carolina > United States > America
April 29, 2014 - 5 star route rating Motorcycle Road5.0

The entire Copperhead Loop route is just a bit over 77 miles, which is an easy afternoon jaunt for most riders. However, to get the most out of your experience, we recommend that you plan to spend at least half a day or more exploring the various Points of Interest along the way.

There truly isn’t a better combination of roads for a motorcyclist or sports car enthusiast to enjoy. The loop starts just minutes away from the Asheville Regional Airport. The Biltmore Estate and other area tourist destinations are within easy reach.

Since the loop is comprised of only three roads, remembering the route is quite easy.

Wahal Rd : Andrews
NC - Cherokee/Graham/Clay... > North Carolina > United States > America
October 8, 2012 - 5 star route rating Motorcycle Road5.0

Tight twisties. Road had some narrow bridges with some gravel on them. Watch out for Dump Truck traffic on the road. Used by locals and not much motorcycle traffic. Challenging road through an area used for white water rafting. So watch out for their busses.
