A good long fast Summer afternoon blast. The Glennelly Valley down through Cranagh and Plumbridge (The Plum ) is very scenic, some nice corners between here and Strabane. From here take either the main A5 through Sion mills or the Liskey Road to Victoria Bridge and from here up through Castlederg and Killen into Ederney and onwards to Kesh for the lakeside run, or direct into Enniskillen taking signs for the West and Sligo. The Sligo road via Belcoo has some excellent corners, you can take a turn at Manorhamilton on a great scenic run into Bundoran, or onto Sligo. Either way the road really opens up here for the N15 main road back up to the Square in Donegal Town, there are always bikers parked up in the Square and a few nice Cafe,s . Take care on the way back up through Barrnesmore Gap into Ballybofey, the Garda keep an eye out, and although we are in the Republic of Ireland here points unfortunately do carry onto your UK License. Back into lifford and fill up at Dalys 24 hour station. A great rural run and if you do it on a weekday summer evening there,s less traffic also. Enjoy and tell me what you think.
