Four day trip, from Oslo, via Dalen, Fjekkefjord, Harddangerfjord, Harddangervidda and then back. The gps road does not contain the transportation portions of the road from Sweden to Norway and home again. The trip was dominated with by stunning mountains, fjords, small villages and winding roads. Amazing scenery.
Part of a Trip around the Skagerrak. End of august, harvesting under way, great light, great smells. A very nice day!
The trip from Tønsberg to Drammen along the fjord offers varied scenary from along the fjord to in vast green farming. Kongsberg to Tønsberg and Drammen to Kongsberg are nice with some river scenary and some farming areas
Part of a Trip around the Skagerrak. Mostly me and the road, nobody else (end of august, bad weather). Fun to ride, some spectacular scenery.
Gravel all the way. Open terrain. Nice scenery
Drive a beautiful divers route on route 13 from Voss-Vik. Than go along the fjords and follow the mountain route 55.
Route 55, a national tourist route, across the Sognefjell mountain area between Luster and Lom is the highest and most impressive mountain pass in Northern Europe (highest point 1430 meters).
The Atlantic Road zigzags across 12 low bridges that jut out over the sea, linking the islands between Molde and Kristiansund. Beautiful scenery not very spectacular on corners and driving but that view, excellent.
Nice day trip for everyone in Hordaland Bergen - Tysse - Eikelandsosen - Sævereid - Våge - Hodnaneset - Onarheim - Mundheim - Noheimsund - Bergen
This was our ride for the 1 May 2011 Varsleppet that is held in Rogaland Norway. About 2000 bikes showed up for this ride. Very nice.
Amazing Fjord Norway
This route takes you up the Tuddal valley and over the mountain, just close to Gaustadtoppen, and then down the hair-pin sig-sag road to Rukjan. The trip is fun, and spectacular. Along the trip you should stop at Tuddal mountain hotel (www.tuddal.no) for a nice stop-over or just lunch.
Going north it starts off with lots and lots of nice curves, then turns into more of a mountain road with some hairpins and GREAT scenery. Surface going down the north side is not great so just take it easy and enjoy the view. Roadwork ongoing on north side though so improving.
