A nice circuit near the Science Park. Some nice straights, especially the flyover bridge that runs over the motorway, which leads to a nice long sweep up the hill towards Tai Po Road.
This is a good setup for a trip to Route Twisk or Bridespool and lets you open up the throttle on some of the straights. A much better alternative to the motorway at any rate.
A pleasant coastal road, nice for a Sunday cruise. Be aware of oncoming traffic as road is single file in most places. If you have a nimble dirt bike you can ride up the dirt track at the end.
This route is all about the view, the ride itself is a slow methodic crawl to the top but is the only one I know of like this in Hong Kong. The Robin's Nest at the top gives you a spectacular view of both China and Hong Kong and the ride down is a real treat as you soak up the scenery. A must see, but make sure it's a clear day! Be careful of hikers and cyclists along the path. Be aware that while the path is concreted it's also very steep in places and has some very tight turns.
