Brilliant route for restoring squared of tyres, requires good riding skill level and non stop concentration! Bikers Ranch Café is a great food stop and also a fab accessory shop!!
If you stay 'sur la continent' on your first nights stay and want a full days ride across to Spa Francorchamps and onto the German border, this is a goodie, the first bit down to Beaumont is almost arrow straight but its getting you where you need to be!
The Best kept secret in Europe, the Luxembourg Ardennes region.
Its just spectacular and other than a little fannying around Wiltz and Diekirch its all fabulous stuff and the petrols cheap as chips too!
Mettet hosted world championship F750 racing with Sheene and Roberts etc competing, the road track and pits is still there to explore. A fabulous cross country route taking you to Spa Francorchamps, the modern home of Belgiums F1 race.
Scenes of some of the heaviest fighting in the Battle of Bulge with both La Roche and Bastogne being flattened. Do not miss the Mardason memorial just east of Bastogne. Cheapest fuel in Europe on the Luxembourg border. Terrific riding on some brilliant terrain.
Gteat day ride passing through plenty of good café stops and terrific high views
Winding route into and out of the Eifel national park with 2 loop sections. The Bikers Café near to Simmerath is en route and recommended, also fab motorcycle accessories shop. The loop east of Simmerath has a very heavy police presence at weekends and a blanket 50km speed limit so keep it cool and enjoy the swooping nature of the road
Dispelling the myth that Belgian roads are pants! This route begins in the Village of La Gleize which is famous for its King Tiger tank outside the WW2 museum. Mainly the surface is very good, the bends are very much 3-4th gear stuff rolling on and off the throttle and properly concentrating. At least half of it follows rivers, so whats there not too like?
