Great alternative way to either Northam or Perth
Watch out for a couple of tight turns crossing the railway line, otherwise a fairly easy ride.
Not a lot of great corners, but a relaxing & scenic ride with very little traffic.
Good pub at Spencers Brook

More enjoyable route to or from Toddyay to Northam
A lot more corners, some great sweeping bends. Great ride
Can be a bit bumpy in sections, & watch out for gravel
Very little police presence, but still be careful
After riding across to Nannup from Bridgetown, & after youve had a break, a great loop back. This road is a lot more open, & a lot less bumpy. Great sweeping bends, but watch the shadows & damp patches from the trees
Rather than the same run out to York/North/Toodyay, try this run. Very open, little traffic & only a bit bumpy. Very enjoyable
Did this ride with a mate, Bryce [thanks mate], when we were in Melbourne. After doing the Spur Roads, this was a bit easier, until Kinglake anyway.
Healesville to Kinglake road takes you through beautiful forested scenery. Road is tight, but flowing, with pretty good vision.Found it really enjoyable, & had some great pace through there ! Watch for log trucks though.
Have a spell at the bakery in Kinglake, then venture on. This next bit is a lot tighter, with some dirt on the corners, so be careful, but have fun ! Mostly 20-50kph corners.
Stopped off at a pub in Smiths Gully, can`t recall the name, on the way home
