A great ride well worth it, the scenery is awesome with lots to see and the air is fresh, try to avoid the twilight hours and night time due to the fauna.
A mix of all road types and qualities of road surface
Nice on a week day with low amounts of traffic
Departing crows nest heading up the M1 to berowra then continue along the old pacific highway turning off at peats ridge road to go through kullnurra to broke then turn left to join the putty road and head back to sydney via windsor
A quick loop that is fun in both direction, but with a couple of look outs to view the awesome coastline mixed in with some fun curves. The highlight is still the pub at Mount Kembla village.
Good for a afternoon run or even a weekend 1/2 day ride. There is a few interesting sections down through the Broughton Pass and up the other side before turning right on to Douglas Park road as and you go under the free way and a couple more between Douglas Park and Menangle Park. A few straights to open the tap a bit more, but sometime police presence is higher than warranted
This road sweeps across the blue mountains, love it!
Good easy ride
Grippy road surface, and unending tight corners this is a great way to make your way over the ranges and wear down those chicken strips.
I personally prefer to do from West to East so the tight corners are your uphill run, with the downhill run using the wide, smooth fast corners on the Thredbo-Jindabyne run. (Plus by going West - East you avoid the $6 NSW parks entry fee ;-) ) but have found either direction a delight.
