This is an unclassified road which runs between the B1053 at Wethersfield (called Hudsons Hill at the start)and the Cuckoo Hill entry to Sible Hedingham on the A1017. It has the general standard of a B-road. It consists almost entirely of bends and Z-bends of varying severity. Unless you are familiar with the road, when there is summer vegetation and you are trying to make a good pace, it becomes a mixture of chagrin because you took one too slowly and bowel-loosening terror when the pussycat turned out to be a tiger. It is a very useful bridging route between the runs around Finchingfield and the Castle Hedingham to Bulmer Tye B1058 run.
Good, relatively quiet roads on the 'Harwich Peninsula'. Some great corners!
Loop to Framlingham, including some good roads east of A14!
Cracking route (taken from BBR recommended roads). Mostly 'A' Roads, some 'B'. Mix of good straights and some twistys. Mostly rural but some towns and villages to stop for coffee etc. Takes a good couple of hours.
