A figure of eight loop across and around Dartmoor starting and finishing at yelverton,where there is a good pub the Rock Inn.
From yelverton the B3212 leads across the moor to mortonhampstead care must be taken for the livestock which likes to use this road as well also there is meant to be a 40mph limit.
From mortonhampstead the A382 can be busy at times and narrows to single lane in places but I think it ads to the fun.
My favorite part is the B3212 back towards mortonhampstead lovely and twisty and not normally busy.
The loop then follows various roads around okehampton which is nice for stop but I tend to miss as it can be busy with traffic.
The A386 leads back to tavistock this road has a 40mph limit in places and can be frequented by mobile speed scameras occasionally.
