Has some really long, open stretches to tempt you to open it up. BUT BEWARE - there are numerous surprise junctions and driveways with Mr & Mrs Bumble pulling out, oblivious to everything. Better during the week if you dont mind the odd tractor or tipper. The Victoria pub at Earl Soham is definately worth a visit for a half with excellent ales and its not tarted up.
Love this route to bits although I would recommend going from Yoxford to Stowmarket as the road seems to flow better that way. As well as watching out for tractors be aware of tourists in the summer.
There are a couple of surprise junctions that you have to give way at. The first is at Pettaugh and I think from memory that the second is in Dennington. Keep 'Em peeled.
It's worth taking a stop off at Framlington Castle.
There's a nice bit of variety on this stretch to keep you interested, however as there are some blind blends and this is tractor country, you need to stay focused
