Take back roads through Scandia, MN to Osceola, WI and on to Star Prairie, WI. Then take roller-coaster WI-65 north to US 8. Head north to Luck on WI 46 and then back roads west to the St Croix river. Stop at the Wolf Creek Bar and Grill before following scenic River Road to St Croix Falls. Head back to Stillwater via MN 95.
