Kindly rebuilt and resurfaced, for 70% of length,by the EEC in 2007 its like Brands Hatch. Pleasent scenery adds to the ride which climbs from Lugo into the mountains and finnishes at Fonsagrada ( fuel available ) where Spanish bikers stop for lunch. Very fast with mainly long bends.
This has been resurfaced by EU with some good fast flowing bends as the road rises to a summit and then drops down towards Lalin. Some good long distance views with usual Wind Farm providing a diversion.
This is a real cracker of a route - from Ojedo through to Riano is predominantly tight & twisty with excellent surfaces. As you approach Riano from the East the road opens up into some fantastic sweepers which sets the scene all the way up to the provincial border. A real gem!
Bends Great Surface a little Narrow in places great scenery in places Prades a Fantastic Camp sight And good food not teally recomended in winter months if the weather is Bad
A trip to the highest village in Spain. Can be quite slow going due to the number of bends (and convoys of German motorhomes!), but worth it for the scenery!
This seems to be quite popular with bikers, saw quite a few on the road (different nationalities), its a more direct route from Huesca to Jaca but the road surface is pretty poor, with some gravel in areas, so beware.
