N260 : Llançà - Porbou (Spain)February 11, 2006Cracker. See Port-Vendres(France)- Llanca for glowing reference! N114 / N260 : Port Vendres - Llanca (France)February 11, 2006Look at the map! Drove (hire car :( ) France to Spain so views not as spectacular and difficult to pull in as on wrong side of road. Popular with local bikers , and no wonder up,down, round and around. Not at all bad for a main route from one country to the other. But with all the traffic a route like this brings. Not such a problem on a bike tho'. Wonderous and perfect surface. Keep your wits about you if you are going to get, ahem, pacy! A joy. Its the N260 again innit! N260 : La Seu d'Urgell (nr Riberra D'Urgell) - Sort - El Pont de Suert - Ainsa (Spain)February 11, 2006La Seu d'Urgell - Sort section Biking heaven. There is a reason for people gibbering on about it! Best part of N260? N240 : Yesa - Puente la Reina de Jaca (Spain)February 11, 2006Gutted to here about new surface. Hopefully be better for spring summer. The road was a delight especially the lakeside section. Jaca a nice place to stay after a good ride from Santander/Bilbao (not too difficult to achieve from the ferries) |
