N114 / N260 : Port Vendres - Llanca (France) February 11, 2006 Look at the map! Drove (hire car :( ) France to Spain so views not as spectacular and difficult to pull in as on wrong side of road. Popular with local bikers , and no wonder up,down, round and around. Not at all bad for a main route from one country to the other. But with all the traffic a route like this brings. Not such a problem on a bike tho'. Wonderous and perfect surface. Keep your wits about you if you are going to get,ahem,pacy! A joy. Its the N260 again innit! There is a reason for people gibbering on about it! Best part of N260? N240 : Yesa - Puente la Reina de Jaca (Spain) February 11, 2006 Gutted to here about new surface. Hopefully be better for spring summer. The road was a delight especially the lakeside section. Jaca a nice place to stay after a good ride from Santander/Bilbao (not too difficult to achieve from the ferries)
