A good road if you're on something like a giant trailie, the bit nearest to Valence is fantastic smooth tarmac but it soon becomes a bit bumpy as it climbs in to the hills. Not smooth enough for a sports bike. One to take your time on, enjoy the little villages you pass and the solitude, this is a quiet area.
