N13 : Cherbourg - Caen ( Band of Brothers Cantentin Peninsula )

I love the nostalgia and history associated with the route but I agree with Tornado Pilot, the N13 is just mind numbing and much of the rest has either too much traffic or too little challenge. Nice ish cruise type ride tho.

A group of 8 fellow bikers and myself took this route in oct 2007,and i can sayy without a shadow of doubt it was the best biking trip of my life,great views,great roads and good food it doesnt get any better than this for my money.

This is a route that takes you from Cherlourg and then onto St-mere Eglise and onto cateran and then along the D-Day beaches. You will follow in the footsteps of Easy Company 101st 506th PIR US Airbourne. These are the guys based on Stephen Ambrose book Band Of Brothers and the T.V Series. Hope you enjoy the route.
