Just a classic Austrian alpine run with picture postcard views and a nice mixture of fast open bends and tight alpine twisties. Once you get to Saalbach Hinterglemm make sure you take the land train up to the highrope course and do the highest & longest zipwire in Europe! Brilliant
Fast, sweeping, long sections as only the Austrians know how. Great chances to practice cornering and overtaking skills, just watch out for some speed traps.
Excellent open medium speed curves and some straights with relatively low volume of traffic and some opportunities to pass. Pleasant alpine surroundings, a good road for the sportier rider.
Not a stunning road and a little built up in places but some nice scenery and flowing open corners with nice views. Overtaking not too difficult so traffic not a big problem
Taking the B3 along the "left bank" of the Danube from Melk (after marvelling at the monastery) gives a scenic ride along the river, with plenty of places to stop and have a break to look at the river and the local scenery.
B56 North-South just besides the Hungarian border. Hilli forest area with lots of corners and a great number of bikers around. There is a restaurant and parking place halfway on the top, close to the place calles Geschreibenstein, that is a small viewpoint on the A/H border - a few hundred meters of...
From Predlitz head south on the B95 over the Turracher Hohe (1763m above sea level), through the tollgate and up to the cafe at the top for a warm. I have been over it twice in early June and the snow has been piled at the side and it has been cold at the top and once it started snowing.

From Stadl take the turn off BS97 in the town and head
southeast towards the Flattnitz ski resort.
The road is well surfaced and has a few interesting bends.
I've done it twice in 1993 and 1999 both times on a GT750
'Kettle', so it was more of a fight for me than it would on
a modern super...
This is a dead-end road heading up the Maltatal from the main road. The first part is unexceptional with good scenry.
After the toll booth, the road gets better and the icy and wet tunnels that have bends in them are quite spectacular and traffic light controlled during peak hours.
Nockalmstrasse Eastern Austria ..., Austria November 14, 2010 - 4.7
Experience on a drive of 35km, with numerous gentle bends, a unique high-mountain region in the heart of the largest spruce, larch and arolla pine forest in the eastern Alps.
