A great ride from Chiang Mai to Pai, it is possible to off road a loop back to Chiang Mai but the map does not show it. Rent a bike in Chiang Mai and go for it, beutifull scenary.

A real curve-fest! Pai is about 3 hours from Chiang Mai. Just about right for a day trip. I read somewhere that there are 800 curves between Chiang Mai and Pai. The road surface isn't the best but, it's not terrible either. I really enjoyed it. Pai is a backpacker stop with lots of restaurants.
