Driving south on the D80 on the eastern side of the cap corse peninsula is quite a different experience than on the western side. The road is more open and has the occasional two lane section to pass cars, visibility is good bu can be very windy.

Many breathtaking cliff views of the sea and the cliffs on the west side of cape corse. Surface is mostly good, visibility limited but corners very predictable enjoyable. The occasional hire car emerging from blind corners on your side can keep you focused!

Many short and nice corners. Visibility quite limited through corners but no surprises really as corners are quite predictable. Very enjoyable but watch out for the occasional rental car driver coming the other way on your side of the road, can be a bit hairy if you

The N196 was one of my favourite roads on the island. The corners on this road are more open and better surfaced than many of the D roads in Corsica. This road can be enjoyed by just about any kind of biker with any level of experience on any bike. Great!
