I discovered this road in the early 70s and have ridden it many times since. Theres more people living up there now but its still a fun ride.You can continue on a few miles north east to the Racer B. Russell Scenic Highway.

This is a very nice and Challenging Road. It takes you through 60 (warm up). Then goes onto 129 (the mountain racetrack). Then off to the highest peak in georgia at 180. This is my Usual run when I wanna get into the country and some twisties , but dont have all day to kill . I live in stone mountain , and can usually run this loop in about 1 1/2 hrs. There is a nice spot that passes over a small lake and also some twisty country roads ,

Start out at Riders Hill in Dahlonega, head up 60, pass Stone Pile Gap & Wolf Pen Gap, Turn on to Skeenah Gap rd to head to Blairsville. In Blairsville head back south on 129. Some great small old Georgia farm towns that have been revitalized dot this route. Antiques in Woodbury, motocycle museum and bike bars in Warm Springs, good food at Pine mountain. Great curves for this part of Georgia on the ridge top between Warm Springs and Pine Mountain. Enjoy!
