Outstanding route on a Saturday and Sunday.. long way to go on an HP4 over two days. scenery in the NW of Scotland is astonishing....highlights...everywhere... little traffic...no police...amazing weather for once i took the time to stop and photograph various spots which could easily have been eve...
Lovely part of the country taking in plenty of little villages.
Hawes is a favourite with bikers. Lots of stop offs for a brew and a chat.
Roads give you everything its up to you what you do with them.
Faster or slow its a good run out.
Good mix of fast straights and interesting bends with hood road surface. Traffic can be busy but generally plenty of passing opportunities. Beware police cars if you're tempted to make good progress. Finish at C&A Superbikes at torrential for a tea and burger and to drool at the new bikes.
A nice selection of sweepers through the rather nice Thetford forest, other items of interest include a military airfield. The visibility is not so great in places as it is obscured by trees. Police presence used to be quite low but this route was mentioned in RiDE magazine's best roads recently so ...
