N114 / N260 : Port Vendres - Llanca (France)June 12, 2007The French part of a really excellent route riding from the Costa Brava coastline in Spain along the Pyrenees and up to Collioure where they hit the Mediterranean and into France. Serious corners so if youre going to ride fast keep your eyes wide open. Best ridden out of season, ie between Sept and June as there can be a lot of traffic on this route in high season which makes for interesting riding! N112 / D907 Saint-Chinian - La Salvetat ( Ride the roads of the road testers in Southern France! ) (France)June 12, 2007This is the route that the manufacturers often use here in France for testing their latest machinery. Out of season its quite possible to see some of the Jap manufacturers teams out with their latest to be offerings. The road starts in St Chinian in the Herault (N112)and then goes through to St Pons. At St Pons ride through the town (stop off for petrol and a cool drink if necessary) and then turn right on the D907. This is where the fun really starts. At first youll think so whats so great about this road? Just wait until you are about a mile clear of the town and all will be revealed. Keep your concentration or youll pay the price!! Ride safe and enjoy....Martin N260 : Llançà - Porbou (Spain)June 12, 2007The Spanish part of a really excellent route riding from the Costa Brava coastline in Spain along the Pyrenees and up to Collioure where they hit the Mediterranean and into France.
