This is a longer ride, 4-5 hours with nice twisty canyons and straight-shot highways in a loop through Box Elder, Cache, and Weber counties. Traffic can be a bit congested as the canyons have fewer passing areas than desired but plenty of fuel stops and beautiful northern Utah scenery (especially Lo...
the distance is great and gives riders a full day of twisties, Vistas, and not much traffic for most of the run. this route strings together several of northern Utah's best rides into one marathon adventure. east Canyon, trappers loop, monte Cristo, mirror Lake, and guardsman pass.
great and diverse ride, this route really has it all-dense forested hills, desert, mountains. a few great overlooks and plenty of photo ops. plan time to stop at some of the national parks at either end.
An absolutely gorgeous part of Zion Park, probably less visited than the main valley but gorgeous. This is a short out-and-back route, but worth posting because the scenery is simply epic. If you can't make it into Zion while traveling on Interstate 15, at least take this quick offshoot. You won...
Riding east to west, the Burr Trail begins 7 miles north of Bullfrog
marina and is an intimate ride of 72 miles to Boulder, Utah. The
entire trail is a visual kaleidoscope of stunning landscapes,
colours and with a some challenging riding thrown in.
Outstanding. The Moki Dugway is an 1100 rise over 2 miles up the side of a cliff. Very tight switchbacks on a gravel road. Best for Adventure bikes although we went up and down it quite safely on rented Harleys. Lot of fun!
Wildly fast sweepers for mile after mile. Population near zero, but watch for cows! Big altitude changes, super smooth pavement. You can stay on the gas a keep her leaned over for the afternoon, or stop at several breathtaking vista points. Both ends lead great places, too!
From the fork of the 276 south to the Natural Bridges Monument this road contains a mix of all the best things that a bike could want. Many consecutive great curves on a good surface, beautiful scenery and it goes on for miles. Really Excellent
