Great warmer weather ride involving two ferries to and from Shelter Island. Ferries accomodate motorcycles easily and reasonably with little or no waiting time.
The curves are mostly at the end when you get off of 169 and go west... if you like that more, just go right up to that area and explore that route and tributaries.
Make sure to start at RT146 in Branford. You start out with great curves. Come with an empty stomach and stop at the Guilford Center and grab some muchies/sandwich and relax on the green. Go up to the Miidletown area and enjoy the nice roads and scenery in Colchester. Once you get on RT2 go apesh...
Start out at RT197/RT169. Very technical road with a little bit of a surface challenge. Very peaceful surroundings through 169. When you get up into Litchfield county there are some wineries... check them out. RT34 is a nice road... some technical spots.
