I like this liitle route. Its one of my regulars as it gets me from home to the lakes. I agree with on of the previous reviewers - its very different in the other direction. Has a few fair few blind turns, but nothing to worry you too much unless you ride right on the limit. Very few overtaking spots, which can be a problem.
The start of a great journey up the West Coast of Cumbria, with not too much tourist traffic.
Forms part of a great loop around The Lake District, and you can arrive back in Windermere with wide grins!
Small but perfectly formed - just like me! Seriously it is a little gem. A couple of blind brows but otherwise great corners, great surface, great views and great riding. Turn around and do it again. It is much different on the way back. Awesome.

Nice little stretch, much better than the Ulverston - Barrow one
