This is one of the official tourist roads of Norway. It takes you past farms and apple orchards through some very lovely scenery on mostly good roads. Turn off E39 at Romarheim onto road 569 towards Mo. The road is a bit bumpy a first but the narrower it gets, the better the surface seems to be. Good backroad which has moderate traffic, very quiet on weekdays. Nice scenery and fun roads. It varies from farmland, hills, twisties, some straights and some sweepers. Good choice for Sundaytripping based out of Bergen, start at Os and round off with a burger at Trengereid.
