Palekastro - Cape Sidhero

A fast road leads to the Cape of Sidhero. The scenery is wild but unfortunately you cannot reach the northern part cause of an army base. The base is open for visit only once per year, at 4 of February. Just before Sidhero Cape you can visit the Vai Palm forest. Palm forest is the main attraction of this area, so it's busy due the summer time. If you do not like the noisy places, there is a smaller beach with some palms a bit northern from Vai, call Ermoupoli. In the above map is marked as “Itanos”.
