A section of road which forms part of a racetrack when it's not open to the public. Hence perfect surface, wide open corners, armcos, plenty of run off and even stripes on the edges of the corners, surely it doesn't get much better than this.
A great, typical French D route. great road surfaces. Fast stretches and great scenery mean you can really bowl along. Hardly any traffic and a good way to bypass Poitiers. Wish all british roads were this good! Saumur is a very historical town worth stopping for a look.
wonderful alternative to the autoroute or N roads, excellent surfaces fast, flowing turns many quite safe to overtake around the outside due to excellent visibility.
La Ferte Vidame is well worth stopping at for a break.

Mulsanne Straight Section: if your in Le Mans this is a must do 100++ watch out for coppers though turn right at the end and follow the circuit a bit further with a couple of bends for photo opportunity,s
