Very good route to a very nice beach town of Guanaqueros. Start going North through 43 route (all pavement), then take pff road east and the final road North to Guanaqueros. I recommend to have lunch or dinner at "El Pequeño" Restaurant (very good and cheap).

Ovalle - Monte Patria

One of the best routes in Ovalle. All road in the countryside passing along many little and interesting villages as Sotaqui where you can stop. At the final, you will get La Paloma dump water (the biggest in Chile) with many courves until you end getting Monte Patria (gas there).
